Exploring Calgary Through My Lens

I am passionate about photography. An image captures a thousand words. Back in México, my father ran a small photo shop where I mastered the art of taking and developing film negatives. During my junior and high school years, I confidently sold click cameras, 35mm, 110, and 126 films, flash cubes, and more. At that time, I wasn’t entirely focused on photography; after all, I was a teenager with diverse interests. However, more often than not, I gravitated towards what truly moves me; in my case, I returned to photography with renewed interest.

I aim to convey the thoughts and feelings I experience when I see a compelling picture: the initial wow, the imagination of being in the same place where the image was taken, the varying temperatures, the sounds, the aromas, and the thrill of exploration. I have a deep admiration for this world.

Since 2005, Calgary has been my home, and I strongly desire to empower others to experience something equally transformative.
